We are all seeking happiness in our lives.  Some of us will need a lot of money to be happy, others will need little money. Happiness, after all, is only a state of mind.  Where there is high poverty, there is high crime.  Don't think that I mean all people living in poverty are criminals.  Far from it, but crime is highest in high poverty neighborhoods.  What can you as a student do about it? You need to learn about and join in the MAINSTREAM OF ECONOMIC AFFAIRS in the USA.

My job as a teacher is to help you enter the mainstream of economic affairs and help you decide what makes you happy. Don't be too hasty in deciding what makes you happy.  The different components of happiness change as a person matures and gains some life experiences.
